AltarTV: Ballroom session from SXSW

Rarely does video recreate the same feeling of a live performance in a room, but its safe to say that AltarTV captured the spook of this song better than anyone likely ever will.

Watch our first and only take of Cemetery from The Ballroom sessions in Austin TX last month. These guys did an superb job setting and filming this. It felt amazing. Check it out.

Home

Tour is over. Feels good to be home, but damn was that fun. We'll be back out for parts of May, June, and July. Might even be talking some European tourdates in the fall. Much is to come. Beck chooses TEOA for Song Reader Exhibition

Last night The End of America performed at Beck Hansen's Song Reader exhibition in LA as one of 4 bands chosen to play a song from his new sheet music album. TEOA was chosen alongside NYC musician Amy Regan, as well as Adam Green of The Moldy Peaches, Binki Shapiro, Tim Heidecker (Tim & Eric), and Nick Thorburn of the band Islands. Performing Beck's new sheet music album in NYC

We are excited to announce that The End of America will be taking part in the performance of Beck's new sheet music ONLY album, "Song Reader" on December 18. This is the first performance of Beck's album in New York City, at the CSC theater on East 13th street. We are honored to be a part of it!

We'll be in great company with Amy Regan & Danny Ross among others. This ain't one to be missed... tickets are available now.

DVD. New album. Tour in March. Residency in April...

Busy times at camp TEOA. We spent all of last week working out new songs in Vermont, getting ready to make the next album. We're also going into production (finally!) on the DVD, which we're aiming to release on St. Patty's Day. Kickstarter supporters, thank you for your patience. We've got your reward packages coming soon.

We will be hitting the road at the end of March with our good friend Shane of Valencia/Promise of Redemption. The first show in Altoona PA on 3/17 has already been announced. The rest of the dates will be up soon. Lastly, we're doing a residency run at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City during the month of April. You can catch us on stage 1 every Thursday at 10pm.

We posted a new video for The Hardest Thing on our kickstarter page. Its a preview from our upcoming DVD. We're 80% funded for the project so far. Secret plans and thunderstorms

Its thundering like a mother outside right now. Good thing I'm on the computer. The show with Anthony Green in Philly was phenomenal. It felt great to rock for so many people, and share the stage with Anthony and the Good Old War crew for a night. Much has been happening at The End of America headquarters. But plans must remain secret until they're complete. We'll have some exciting new shows to post in the coming days. Also, we will unveil the concept for our newest release soon. Tour: Success

Finished up the winter tour in Brooklyn last night. Felt great to get that healthy dose of rock n roll, see old friends, battle blizzards, sing on the radio, eat eggs, write songs on living room floors, learn water bottle hygeine from Communipaw, get ripped on coffee and stare out into the great midwestern winter abyss from the whistling windows of our GMC Vandura. We'll be back out again in March for another round in the Midwest, as well as a heavy handful of New England shows which will be posted soon. Also, some kind reviews of our album Steep Bay have started popping up. We'll be posting them in the 'music' section if you're interested in what bloggers have to say about The End of America.
