A New Song (and Music Video) From the Record

Hi friends,

There's a new song out in the world today. It's called "When Does the Mystery End," and it's one of the tracks from the album you pre-ordered. You can hear it wherever you normally listen to music:

We recorded it in East Hampton, Massachusetts over a winter weekend that was cold as hell and gray in a way that got into everything. Freezing outside, warm and loud inside, and way too much coffee. Easily one of the most fun sessions we've ever had.

Ever since we finished it, kept thinking this song belongs in a movie. Something like Walter Mitty, where somebody is staring out a window and then finally decides to go do the thing.

That's the feeling it gives me, anyway. Curious whether it hits you the same way.

Thank you for backing this album before you'd heard a note of it. That's not a small thing, and it's a big part of why we get to keep making records at all. We're going after the Billboard charts with this one, and you're the reason that's even on the table.
